The First Wednesday Soup Kitchen

Today I had two volunteers to help me with the soup kitchen! I''m getting much better at asking for help, which is a good thing! Going from the cash box, we had 36 seniors come in and enjoy the soup. Only 2 under poverty level people came in to have soup today. I made cauliflour celery soup, beef potato soup with wine and chicken rice vegetable. The donations and money raised from selling the soup totalled $101.00! We hope for more people next week! I also advertised it in the Dundas Star News.
